The Sheldon LINQ Academy has partnered with SMART Technologies to provide teachers with tailor-made PD solutions designed to help leverage devices, content and platforms.
Our suite of workshops provides teachers with the skill, time and space to develop interactive learning experiences infused with real-time feedback, collaboration and gamification. Each workshop includes a learning tour.
All sessions will be delivered by a SMART Certified Trainer. Our trainers are dedicated classroom teachers committed to sharing their practice with the wide education community. Join us in 2021 at one or more of the workshops listed below.

Audience: Our workshops are designed for Teachers, eLearning Coaches, Heads of Curriculum and Digital Pedagogy Coaches.
The Sheldon LINQ Academy Workshops are in the SMART Training Lab at Sheldon College in Brisbane’s Bayside.
Each workshop is $165.00 per day. Full catering and course material is provided.
- Bring yourself and a laptop with SMART Notebook installed.
- Devices and software will be provided for those who need access.
- We will organise the rest, including lunch and morning tea, as well as lots of classroom-ready resources to take away.
Early Learning
Explore how SMART Technologies fosters curiosity in the early years program along with how our teachers collate instant feedback to determine student growth and understanding.
Junior and Middle College
Witness how SMART Learning Suite can be used as an effective tool in supporting differentiation for teachers in Junior and Middle College. Participants will also discover the value of gamification and collaboration within our classrooms.
Specialist Music
Discover flipped learning strategies and SMART tools used to deliver music lessons in Preparatory through to Senior Years.
Senior School
Visit a variety of senior classes including Science, Mathematics and English and discover the role SMART Learning Suite plays in these curriculum areas.
