Project Description

School Holiday Workshops

The Sheldon LINQ Academy holiday workshops are full-day workshops designed for students of all ages to ignite curiosity and spark creativity and innovation. Learn to create virtual reality, fly a drone, build and code robotic LEGO.

The sky is the limit!

Technology Workshop Programs

Wonder Workshop with Dash and Sphero – Code and program Dash and Sphero to travel through towns, over maps and explore modes of transport and buildings (suitable for students in Years 1 to 4).

Mixed Reality Workshop – Build and code your own virtual reality experience (suitable for students in Years 5 to 10).

Little Big Ideas – Create and solve challenges using electronic components to invent and engineer working solutions (suitable for students in Years 1 to 4).

LEGO Robotics – Explore science, engineering, math, literacy and coding through LEGO Robotics (suitable for students in Years 2 to 6).

Robotic Wonder Workshop

Code and program robots to travel through towns, over maps and explore modes of transport and buildings.

Participants will have fun learning to code and program robots to investigate and travel through towns, over maps and explore modes of transport and buildings.

Suitable for students in Years 1 to 4.

Mixed Reality Workshop

Build and code your own virtual reality experience.

Participants will build and code their own virtual reality experiences. With no experience necessary, students will, by the end of the workshop, develop 3D holographic objects and a new virtual reality experience.

Suitable for students in Years 5 to 10.

Little Big Ideas

Create and solve challenges using electronic components to invent and engineer working solutions.

Participants will design, create and solve challenges using electronic components called LittleBits. Participants will become an inventor and engineer, utilising bubble machines through to robots. The possibilities are endless!

Suitable for students in Years 1 to 4.

Lego Robotics Workshop

Explore science, engineering, math, literacy and coding through LEGO Robotics.

LEGO Education inspires students to explore science, engineering, maths, literacy and coding. In this workshop, children will build and program LEGO in inspirational new ways.

Suitable for students in Years 2 to 6.
